Hoggies Bar Restaurant, named after it cute and funny pig collection! celebrated its 5th year of business on the 1st October 2009. Hoggies is family run and the owners boast over 32 years experience in the catering industry. This clean, comfortable, stylish bar/restaurant with glass tables is a delight to visit. The affordable meals are home cooked to order and served by friendly and helpful staff. The day starts at Hoggies with good old English Breakfast; you can choose a Piglet - 1 of everything, tea or coffee. 'Porker' - 2 of everything, tea or coffee or if you can manage the 'Whole Hog' - two of everything plus black pudding, fried bread, hash browns, mushrooms and your choice of tea or coffee. Wednesday at the bar is quiz night with home made specials available such as pies, lasagnes, stews, quiches and curries. If it's a fish dish your looking for why not try their fish night on Fridays, when there is a variety of freshly battered, pan fried or beer battered fish to choose from, including Rock Salmon and Fresh Salmon - all homemade!
